چکیده
Introduction: Hydatid cyst is a parasitic disease affecting various organs like liver, lungs, spleen or rarely kidneys, caused by the tapeworm Echinococcus granulosus. Its presentation may be atypical leading to diagnostic and management difficulties. A high index of suspicion for hydatid should maintained while evaluating complex cystic renal masses. Accurate diagnosis primary difficult in spite latest imaging modalities. With technological advancements increasing experience laparoscopy, nowadays has been reported managed transperitoneal retroperitoneal laparoscopic approach. Objective/Aim: To present prospective evaluation hydatidosis laparoscopically. Material Methods: All 22 consecutive patients underwent from August 2019 July 2021. Prior surgery all were preoperatively evaluated with CT urography. operated total route standard three ports as surgery. Patients demographic perioperative data recorded prospectively analysed. Outcome measures data, complications follow-up at 12 months. Results: The mean operative time was 190.3 minutes average blood loss 180.4 ml our study. There 4 cases converted open method 7 excision, 3 deroofing marsupilisation, 9 required pericystectomy nephrectomy there no salvageable parenchyma Conclusion: Laparoscopic treatment safe, feasible effective due its advantages surgery, if surgical expertise available. It can minimize morbidity, choice.
